Here are 6 helpful ways to reduce stress during your NAC-OSCE exam preparation:
1. Remove uncertainty
How is this similar to what you have done before? Have you participated in a similar exam before? Focus on what you did well during those circumstances.
2. Be proactive
You know what you need better than anyone else. What can you do to improve your exam success starting today? Have you explored all exam preparation strategies?
3. Reframing
View the exam as an opportunity, not as a threat.
4. Best case scenario
Focus on what you stand to gain from taking the exam.
5. Be kind to yourself
- Be gentle with your feelings and be nice to yourself.
- Pay attention to how you speak to yourself. Cheer yourself on!
- Take good care of yourself: breathe, eat well, exercise, socialize, and get a good night's sleep.
- Learn about stress management tips from fellow IMGs.
6. Reach out
Don't struggle in silence. Reach out for help if you need it.
