Take Home Point #17: How Much Time Do You Need To Prepare For The NAC-OSCE?

· Start Early,NAC OSCE Exam,Case Practice,Exam Preparation,Canada

These are busy modern times. There is no doubt about that. However, if you wish to confidently take the NAC-OSCE in the next few months, I invite you to start reviewing material and cases for the exam early. How early? As early as possible. The earlier the better. Why? It will help minimize stress, build your confidence and knowledge, and improve your chances of achieving a higher score.

Start now, by gradually, incrementally increasing the amount of time that you spend studying and practising cases every month. You don't need to study all-day every day. Try to find a work-study schedule balance that works best for you. You can start with fifteen minutes, then move to thirty minutes a day to eventually get to the point where you are spending 2-3 hours or more a day studying a couple weeks before the exam. Taking your time with revisions will also prevent last minute cramming or rushing through key topics.

Remember: practice makes progress.
